Today, we're thrilled to introduce Lexxi, a committed and supportive member of our Therapy team. Get to know Lexxi and discover her insights and advice for travel therapists.

Q: What tips do you have for therapists who are considering travel positions for the first time?

A: "Do your research. Traveling can seem scary at first, but it's so worth it and ultimately will make you a better clinician!"

Lexxi's journey as a travel therapist has taught her the immense value of preparation. She encourages new travel therapists to invest time in research, helping them feel more confident and ready to embrace the adventure. The rewards of travel therapy extend far beyond the initial uncertainties, leading to significant professional and personal growth.

Q: How do you support travel therapists throughout their assignments?

A: "I regularly check in with my travelers and make sure everything is going smoothly. I'm here to help in any way that I can!"

Support is at the core of Lexxi’s approach. She maintains regular communication with her travel therapists, ensuring they feel supported and heard throughout their assignments. Whether it’s a quick check-in or assistance with a specific concern, Lexxi is always available to provide the guidance and reassurance her therapists need to succeed.

Q: How long have you been with Prime Time Healthcare and what has been your favorite part about it?

A: "I’ve been with Prime Time Healthcare for several years now, and my favorite part has always been the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our therapists. Seeing their growth and knowing I played a part in their journey is incredibly fulfilling."

Lexxi’s dedication to her role is evident in the strong bonds she forms with her therapists. She values the chance to contribute to their development and success, finding great satisfaction in their achievements. Her commitment to fostering these connections is a testament to her passion for her work and the well-being of her therapists.

Q: What advice would you give to someone hesitant about starting a travel therapy career?

A: "Take the leap! It’s natural to feel hesitant about such a big change, but the experiences and opportunities you gain from traveling are unparalleled. It’s a chance to grow both professionally and personally, and you’ll come out of it a more well-rounded clinician."

Lexxi’s encouragement for hesitant therapists is to embrace the adventure and seize the opportunities that travel therapy offers. She believes that stepping out of one’s comfort zone leads to invaluable experiences and growth, both in their careers and in their personal lives. We hope her experiences and tips inspire and guide both new and seasoned travel therapists.
